Hidden in a dune valley is the Airstream - a shiny, hip trailer. Amazingly luxurious, with private sauna and shower cabin. Your private patch of dune affords seclusion which, added to the hammock and great loungers ensures complete enjoyment. Unfortunately it is not possible to place a baby bed in the Airstream.

Frequenly asked questions
- Can I park my car at the rental accommodation?

On the days of arrival and departure you can take your car to the accommodation to load and unload. When you've finished we ask you to park in the car park, to keep this part of the campsite car-free. Should you at some point have lots of shopping then you can of course unload that near the accommodation too.
- Can I recharge my electric car?

We have four charging points for electric cars at the campsite. You'll find them in the car park between Reception and the supermarket.
- Where do I find the Wellnessdome?

These can be found at the intersection of the Schapenpad and Strandpad. You can visit the Wellnessdome for facial, hand and / or foot treatments and for wonderful massages.
- Is there a restaurant?

Yes, we have an onsite restaurant. It's called "Gestrand", and you'll find it in the middle of the campsite, a 10-minute walk from the beach. Restaurant Gestrand is open for everyone! You're just as welcome if you're not staying on the campsite, and can drive your car very close to the entrance of the restaurant, which makes it easy for guests who use a wheelchair. The restaurant has a disabled toilet too. There are several vegetarian and vegan options on the menu; just let us know your preferences when you book! You can park your car in the car park behind the barriers of Camping De Lakens, provided there is availability. Reception has a day parking pass, and an evening parking pass for those who arrive after 18:00. If you spend €75 or more at Gestrand we pick up your parking costs and subtract them from your bill. Hungry yet? Please check the up to date opening times on the website under "Gestrand opening times". You can eat in, or take out.
Sleep in the fabulously terrific Airstream. Such a cool experience!
