Do you want to explore the dunes and surrounding area by bicycle? Or get your kids a cool pedal go-kart for the day? Walk by at bike rental 'Behind the Beach'. Outside the campingseason, this rental is closed. 

Share your holiday pictures or have one last look at your e-mail... No problem! Connect to our free Wi-Fi network. This is accessible for both accommodations as campingspots. Because we are amidst the dunes and surrounded by nature, the Wi-Fi isn't always optimal... 

Visit our Fit & Zen Zone free of charge during your stay and stay fit during your holiday with strength training and cardio equipment. The gym is accessible daily for camping guests aged 16 and over. Keep an eye on the agenda for our group lessons such as yoga and boot camp. You can register for sessions via 'My Camping de Lakens'.

During your stay you can use our sauna facilities free of charge. When you come camping you can go to the Finnish sauna of the 'Butterkop'. If you rent accommodation you can use 'de Wastobbe' with Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and a Turkish steam bath!

After a stressful period... finally having some free time and going on vacation... Let all tension go and completely unwind at our Wellness Dome. Here you may book various types of relaxing massages like hot stones and guasha, even kids can get massaged! Besides that, you're able to make an appointment at the beautician to get a facial or your nails done! 

Do you want to bring a nice souvenir as a memory of your holiday? Or do you have a birthday coming up and still need a cool present? At the reception shop you'll find a lot of great products which will remember you of Camping de Lakens! A soft stuffed Zep the Seagull, a handy waterbottle or a fabulous bracelet from 'Juttersgeluk'? that and more!

Besides our amazingly adventurous playground near Restaurand Gestrand, all around the campsite you'll find fun areas and play equippment. We also have a beachvolleybal field, a hangout for youth and various playgrounds.

In our cool Zep Zone, kids are welcome to join fun activities or participate at events. During the whole campingseason, every weekend or every day, the animation team is ready to have fun! Together wit Zep the Seagull, they make every kid's holiday unforgettable!

Throughout the entire campsite heated toilet/sanitary buildings with showers are located. Some of them have special areas or rooms for families with a baby or for disabled guests. There also are some points suited for emptying the chemical toilets of campers and mobile homes.

Spilled some BBQ sauce on your shirt? No problem! There's a laundromat at the campsite. It's located in the same building as the SPAR, at the entrance right. To use the washing machine, get a coin at the cash register of the supermarket.

Did you bring your electric bike? Charging the battery of your bicycle may be done at your own campingspot or accommodation. When you are visiting someone on the campsite, it's possible to charge your battery at the bicycle parking/storage at the reception. Please come on in!

Do you own an electric car? We have two electric charging stations at the campsite. These poles are from Just Plugin and offer space for two cars charging at the same time. These station is located at P1. Power costs €0,63.

When you book a campingspot on Beachspot Schelpengat, free and unlimited use of the joint barbecue is included. The big BBQ is with a gas bottle service, so you may walk over and just use it. Have a nice meal!
