General information
Fitness
- Stay fit during your vacation with free access to our gym. The Fit & Zen Zone is open daily from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The access code is 6808.
Sauna
- Access is for ages 18+; swimwear is not allowed.At bathhouse De Wastobbe, you can enjoy the infrared sauna, Finnish sauna, and Turkish steam bath daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The wellness area is cleaned between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, but the building remains open. For your comfort, bring a towel, water bottle, and slippers. The access code is 3828.
Wi-Fi
- Retro Trailer, Beachshack, Seashacks, DunelodgeSelect the network with the same name as your accommodation. The password is the name of the accommodation, followed by the number and @2024! For example: Retrotrailer23@2024!
- Airstream Beachbus Beachdome, Dunedome, SeacocoonSelect the network with the same name as your accommodation. The password is the name of the accommodation followed by @2024! For example: Seacocoon@2024!
- De Waard Tenten, Backpack- shackFree Wi-Fi is available via 'de Lakens Open', no password required. Please note: due to the location of these tents and accommodations, the signal may be limited.
Watersport
- Would you like to book a surf or kitesurf lesson? You can do so with Surfana or Mifune. When booking through us, you'll receive a 15% discount! Book online using the code DeLakens2023.
Check out
- Your stay has come to an end! We kindly ask you to leave the accommodation tidy. Please sweep the floors, do the dishes, and store the clean kitchenware in the cabinets. Remove the bedding and place it along with the towels in the white laundry bag. Don’t forget to return the key to reception before 10:30 AM. If the reception is closed, you can leave the key in the mailbox by the front door.

A relaxing massage or the recreation program?
Is there a TV in your accommodation? TV with Chromecast
Use the black remote to turn on the TV, and then use the white remote for the KPN box.
Want to watch TV? Set the TV to HDMI 1 using the input button on the top left of the black remote. For Chromecast, use HDMI 2. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
Open an app like YouTube or Netflix and connect to the Chromecast.
If you are staying in the Airstream... Sleeper sofa
The sofa bed can be prepared by folding the table down as follows:
- Turn the lever under the table to the left to loosen it.
- Push the table down to the ground with both hands.
- Turn the lever to the right to secure the table again.
The extra cushion for on top of the table is located on the sofa. The table can be unfolded again in the same way.
De Waard Tent electricity
In the tent, a maximum of 3500 watts of power is available. Here’s what you can use:
- Stove: 2500 watts
- Kettle: 2400 watts
- Coffee maker: 1000 watts
- Heater: 2000 watts
- Refrigerator: 90 watts
A beautiful stay in nature. So, please store your food in sealed containers or in the cabinets and storage boxes in your tent to avoid unwanted visitors.
If you have booked a Seashack (Deluxe)... Breakfast
- Upon receiving your key, you will receive breakfast cards for the buffet, per person per day. Please hand these in upon arrival at restaurant Gestrand. The next morning, your fresh breakfast will be ready in the restaurant, where you can either take it to your room or enjoy it there.
- Staying longer than one night? We’ll gladly bring fresh towels and clean the room. Flip the sign on the door to show your choice: GONE SURFING: Clean the room. GONE SLEEPING: Do not disturb.
If you are staying in a Backpackshack... BBQ
...you can enjoy unlimited use of the BBQ that’s ready for you.
- Turn the knob on the right side of the BBQ to activate the power with a timer.
- Set your desired temperature by turning the grill knob.
- Start grilling and enjoy!
