Surfing, camping, dancing to live performances by musicians and DJs, vegan and vegetarian food trucks, crafting workshops, and spiritual sessions. One weekend a year, the Surfana Festival takes place at Camping De Lakens. Born from a surf community with a big heart and a love for the outdoors.

Very relaxed!
Rianne is sitting relaxed with her friend in a tub full of warm water and seaweed. They look out at the tent where a singer-songwriter is playing a song on his guitar. Between the showers, festival-goers are lying on large cushions. They are enjoying the sun and the music. A little further on, people are skipping rope. The atmosphere is relaxed. We eat a pancake at one of the food trucks and dance barefoot in the sand in the middle of the day at one of the music stages. We drink a beer at 2 Chef's Brewing and participate in the bandana painting workshop.
For young and old
At the Kids Club, young children are happily crafting while their parents visibly enjoy themselves. Surfing lessons are given on the beach. Patagonia is on the campsite with a mobile sewing studio where you can have your wetsuits repaired for free. This is a small, cozy festival and one of the few festivals you can attend with three generations.Â
You can dance well at the Surfana Festival, both during the day and in the evening. And tell me... how great is it to wake up in your camper van in the morning, right in the middle of nature, with a view of the dunes.
On to 2026
Next year, the Surfana Festival will take place on September 11 - 12 - 13. You can book festival tickets starting in December via the Surfana website.
